XP Home + Netzwerkkonfiguration

Hallo!
Wie kann ich unter XP die Netzwerkkonfiguration sichern bzw verstecken, so daß kein anderer etwas verändern kann. (Auf dem Rechner ist bis jetzt ein User- möchte ich auch so lassen)
Bei Win 98 gab es z.B bei Poledit gute Versteckmöglichkeiten.
