Aus diesen Dateien kannst du die Icons z.B. mit dem Tool ->
IcoFX extrahieren und auch weiter bearbeiten. Die meisten Symbole haben von Haus aus einen transparenten Hintergrund. Die Test-Version von IcoFX kann 15 mal ohne Einschränkung genutzt werden, was eigentlich für deine Zwecke reichen sollte. Ältere Versionen sind auch als Freeware zu finden.
