suse auf externe Festplatte

Hallo,
kann man suse auf externe Festplatte installieren?
Wenn ja, was muß man tun, damit das System hinterher auch läuft?
Auf der internen Festplatte habe ich Windows XP.

Wenn der PC (BIOS) von USB booten kann, muss man nur den Kernel von SUSE so konfigurieren dass die USB und SCSI fest einkompiliert ist und nicht als module.

Trotzdem hat es bislang wohl noch niemand wirklich geschafft, wenn man sich die Foren so anschaut.
