Wie Acoustic Management bei Western Digital Festplatte aktivieren?

Hallo, mit welchen Tool kann ich das (Automatic) Acoustic Management/AAM bei meiner [url=http://www.wdc.com/en/products/Products.asp?DriveID=117]Western Digital WD3200JB[/url] aktivieren/deaktivieren? Habe schon im [url=http://support.wdc.com/download/index.asp?pid=3]Downloadbereich[/url] alle möglichen Tools für Windows und DOS zu der Platte heruntergeladen, aber bei keinem kann man das AAM verändern... Habe die Platte in einem externen Gehäuse und würde sie gern so leise wie möglich stellen. Auf Geschwindigkeit kommt es mir dabei icht so sehr an. [i]<gruß thj>[/i]

Das einzige, was ich in der WD-Knowledgebase dazu gefunden habe, ist leider dies:

Western Digital does not provide software that will change the Acoustic Management settings on Western Digital hard drives.

If you have an Intel chipset based motherboard listed in Answer ID 1004, you can use a program called the Intel Application Accelerator to change the Acoustic Management settings for our hard drives. This utility can be downloaded and installed from Intel´s web site.

IMPORTANT: Western Digital does not support third party utilities that change firmware values on our hard drives. It is recommended that any data on your hard drive be backed up before using such software.
