Festplatte statt 160 nur 130 GB

Hi,
uch hab das Problem das meine platte nur 130 GB anzeigt statt 160 GB die es sein müssen-
kA woran das liegen könnte. Hoffe mal ihr könnt mir hlfen

hi,
dass hoffe ich auch,
aber da du die platte bestimmt nicht nur auf den wohnzimmertisch gelegt hast, würde es sinn machen,
ein bissel über dein system zu verraten
(Betriebssystem ? ,PC?) :-)
dann wird dir sicher schnell geholfen

das Problem ist SP1, nach Installation von SP2 wird deine Festplatte in der richtigen Größe erkannt.

Nuja das Problem is, das mit dem Setup von SP2 mein System fast 50% (laut Benchmark) langsamer läuft o.O
gibts auch ne andre Methode?

Laut der Seite wird LBA48 schon ab SP1 unterstützt; allerdings muß auch das BIOS LBA48 unterstützen, also wirst du möglicherweise um ein BIOS-Update nicht herumkommen. Leider fehlt die Bezeichnung und der Hersteller deines Motherboards.
