Frage

Hallo, mein Problem ist das ich bei meinem compaq LTE 5280 notebook das Bios Passwort nicht eingeben kann. Ich kann mit der Tastatur oder Maus am Passworteingabefeld nichts verändern. Kann mir dabei jemand Helfen? Gruß

Probier mal den Tastaturstecker abziehen und wieder draufstecken - hilft meist !

Servus Volker,

Ich glaube an der Tastatur liegt es nicht. Den Memory test den das notebook bei jedem Start macht kann ich zumindest abbrechen und auch die F10 Taste um ins Bios zu kommen funktioniert, leider lässt er mich aber ohne Passwort nicht hinein.

hast du vorher an den Passworteinstellungen herumgespielt oder ist es nicht dein Notebook?

Enabling QuickLock/QuickBlank allows you to temporarily disable the keyboard and blank the screen until the power-on password is entered. After you have enabled QuickLock/QuickBlank, you can initiate it at any time by pressing the Fn+F6 hotkey.
When QuickLock/QuickBlank is initiated, the key icon on the
status panel turns on. Type your power-on password on the blank screen to exit QuickLock/QuickBlank.

Servus Kalle,

Das notebook habe ich von einem Freund geschenkt bekommen. Der ist bei dem Problem auch nicht weitergekommen.
