unter xp laufen neue spiele nicht mehr
Frage
Seit ich von win98 auf winXP umgestellt habe, kommt bei mir folgendes Problem:
Neue spiele, wie z.b. call of duty, fifa2004 etc. wollen bei mir nicht laufen. während der installation der spiele habe ich keine fehlermeldungen, aber sobald ich versuche das spiel zu starten wird mir angezeigt das ich die cd rom einlegen soll, obwohl sich diese bereits im cd rom laufwerk befindet. Weder auf meinem dvd laufwerk, auf meinem Brenner oder auf einem normalen Laufwerk werden die CD roms nicht anerkannt. Was ich auch nicht verstehe ist, das diese spiele auf win98 ohne probleme laufen. Ich hoffe jemand weiss eine lösung dafür :/

läuft Dein System den so normal?
Hast Du alle Mainboard Treiber installiert?
Alle XP Updates drauf ?

ja die mainboard treiber sind alle richrig installiert. mein symstem läuft sonst auch einwandfrei. updates hab ich nicht drauf, denn wenn ein update kommt krieg ich eine benachrichtigung, aber bisher habe ich noch keine bekommen.

Schon einmal etwas vom SevicePack 1 f. XP gehört? Danach gibt es noch [ca.] 80 Updates für XP.
Da kann man lange auf eine Nachriccht warten (!?!?!?) - die sind herunterzuladen und zu installieren - ganz einfach!

Mit einem "unbehandelteb" XP ist man, noch dazu wenn man sich damit im I-Net bewegt, eine Selbst- und Gemeingefahr!
In diesen Patches ist auch der o.a. "SafeDisk-Patch/Fix" von MS enthalten, der die Games spielbar macht. Beide hier angeführten Spiele sind nämlich genau mit diesem KS vesehen.....

der "SafeDisk-Patch/Fix mag ja schön und gut sein, ich hab ihn auch installiert, aber laufen tut das immer noch nicht....
