Hello! I am in Ireland, and following an upgrade from
windows vista to
Windows 7 Home Premium my driver for my Canoscan LiDE 200 was lost and I tried to get on to the "Original Canon scanner Downloads" thinking that I was getting on to CANON but wound upwith DRIVER TUNER which I thought was from CANON I was charged 50.47 euro for downloads (many of them ) when all I wanted was one driver for the CanoscanLiDE 200.
AS I had to pay the money BEFORE i could download, I did not know until I tried to use that Download that it did not even OPEN. So now having paid my money my scanner still will not work.
I paid through PayPal on 11/12/12 qaand as the Scanner still does not work, Please refund my money to my Visa card, (or to Paypal) or whatever you do in such cases, and I shall remove your downloads from my computer.
I am 76 years old and I have NO IDEA what most of your other drivers are for as all I wanted is to get my SCANNER working.
Please refund my money without delay, as I am sure you are a reputable company, and at my age I do not need all this hassle.
The gentleman in the computer shop has given me the correct CanoscanLiDe200 site to which I will get onto and load a driver that will get my scanner working.
