Athlon 64 taktet durchgehend auf 2,4 GHz....

Hiya,
mir ist das grad mal aufgefallen. Sonst ist der CPU immer runtergetaktet auf 800 mhz um strom zu sparen. aktueller amd treiber ist installiert.
wüsste nicht was ich geändert habe.
jemand ne idee?

The System Properties can be viewed by clicking Start, right-click the My Computer icon and then select Properties from the menu list. System Properties shows the speed at which your CPU is running, or current speed. The speed advertised is the fastest speed at which the CPU is capable of running, or maximum speed. It is normal to see a difference between what System Properties reports and the maximum speed of your CPU.
Ryan: Notebook PCs using Intel and AMD mobile processors use processor throttling to control the speed of the processor. Your processor may slow down due to user defined “Power options," whether the unit is running on alternating (AC) or direct current (DC), and the demand of any system processes and applications running. Processor throttling is intended to extend battery life when running on DC by only supplying the amount of power needed at any given time. Intel notebooks use the SpeedStep® technology, AMD systems use PowerNow!®.

You can also check correct processor speed in BIOS. To do this, please follow these steps:
1. Restart the notebook.
2. When you see the HP logo, press F10 continuously to enter the BIOS configuration utility.
3. Under Main menu, you can see correct Processor speed.
And also give the " AMD Processor Update for Microsoft Windows XP " from the HP drivers site
Solution
Reinstall the AMD processor driver from Software Setup.
Click Start > All Programs > Software Setup .
Click + before Hardware enabling Drivers and place a check mark before AMD Athlon processor driver and click over Install

Ok, das sagt HP dazu.
Aber das hilft nicht weiter. Treiber hab ich neu installiert.
Was im Bios steht ist auch wurscht. Das zeigt immer 2,4 an.
Egal welches Power-Schema ich nehme, der Speed bleibt auf 2,4 GHZ.
Auch egal ob Akku oder Netzteil betrieb.
Sonstige Infos:
WinXP Home mit SP2
Athlon 64 3700+
CPU-Z zeigt immer 2389 Mhz an.
CPU-Last laut TaskManager 0-4.
Verzeiflung macht sich breit.

ich habe KEINE Ahnung wieso.
Vielleicht liegt es ja auch nur an der Macht der Borgs und Urmels und Stalagniten und so weiter.

Stellt Fragen und hat Die Antwort Schon Parat
Oder Brauchts ER nur einen Dolmetscher
Ein Amd 64 Bit3700 laeuft halt mit 2,4
EIN 3500 nur mit 2,2 GHZ

Bevor man irgend welche Kommentare loslässt sollte man sich mal informieren worum es überhaupt geht.
Und selbst wenn er den Prozessor immer auf 100 Mhz haben will, er will wissen warum es nicht geht und keine Meinung warum andere es nicht wollen.
