HILFE: XP Pro findet beim Install die Festplatten nicht???
Frage
Hallo.
Ich habe mir ein Notebook von Hewlett Packard (HP Pavilion) gekauft.
Auf dem befindet sich Windows XP Home, was einwandfrei läuft.
Das Notebook hat zwei Festplatten, a´80 GB.
Nun möchte ich aber Windows XP Prof SP2 draufspielen und vorher die Festplatten partionieren. Das klappt aber nicht:
Wenn ich mit der Prof boote, was einwandfrei klappt, sagt er mir am Ende, wenn das Setup alles geladen hat, das keine Festplatten gefunden worden und die Installation nicht fortgesetzt werden kann.
Wie kann ich den Rechner nun plattmachen und das neue Betriebssystem aufspielen.
Da gibt es doch bestimmt einen Trick.

mußt du zuerst laufwerk C: bei der installationsroutine löschen siehe hier:

Aber nun stellt sich die Frage, da nicht erkannt, was für ein Computertyp das ist. (also sowas habe ich noch nie gehabt):
