Ich kann mit dem HP-Laserjet 1000 keine Seiten im Querformat drucken - brauche diese Funktion jedoch für Tabellen und Bilder. Wenn ich in einem Programm (egal ob Word / Excel / Bildbetrachter (IrfanView) ) im Druckmenü 'Querformat' einstelle druckt er trotzdem im Hochformat. in den Druckereinstellungen läßt sich nichts einstellen - nur in den jeweiligen Programmen. Weiß jemand Rat? WinXP, HP LaserJet 1000, Treiber von der Originalcd

sollte zumindest bei Word und Excel funktionieren.

Also nicht im Druckmenü, sondern gelich im Menüpunkt DATEI

hab die lösung gefunden.
hier mal die ausführlichere Antwort, falls nochmal jemand anders so ein Problem haben sollte.

wie ich schon geschrieben hatte:

"in den Druckereinstellungen läßt sich nichts einstellen - nur in den jeweiligen Programmen."

hatte ich in word etc. querformat eingestellt - leider ergebnislos.

der druckertreiber legt mehrere drucker an

1.) hplaserjet 1000 und
2.) hplaserjet 1000 DOS

ich hab bisher immer mit dem "hplaserjet 1000 DOS" gedruckt, weil der immer "online" war denn das problem mit dem anderen war - je nachdem wo ich den drucker reingesteckt hab (usb-port 1, 2 oder 3 [weil Laptop]) hießen die dann
-hp laserjet
-hp laserjet (kopie 1)
-hp laserjet (kopie 2)
und jedes mal schauen welcher das grad ist war mir zu anstrengend und wenn ich den "hplaserjet DOS" als standarddrucker eingestellt hatte ging das immer - egal wo er gesteckt hat - NUR der hp1000 DOS kann offensichtlich kein Querformat.
Wenn man jetzt aber als drucker den hplaserjet 1000 wählt funktioniert auch das Querformat-drucken.

ISSUE:

When printing to the HP LaserJet 1000 series printer from any Microsoft (R) Windows application, why do print jobs with the Landscape orientation selected appear correctly in the print preview, but print in Portrait orientation?

SOLUTION:

This can occur when the HP LaserJet 1000 DOS driver is selected as the default printer when the Landscape print job is sent to the printer or if the installation of the software was corrupted. Follow these steps to resolve this issue.

1.Verify that the HP LaserJet 1000 driver is the default selected driver within the Microsoft application when printing, or perform the following steps to set the HP LaserJet 1000 printer driver as the default printer for all applications.

1.From the Windows desktop, select Start, Settings, then Printers.
2.Right-click on the HP LaserJet 1000 print driver icon.
3.Click Set as Default.
4.Test print a document.

2.If the correct driver was selected and the documents still print out in Portrait, follow these steps.

1.Uninstall the HP LaserJet 1000 printer software.
2.Reinstall the HP LaserJet 1000 printer software.
3.Ensure that both drivers, the HP LaserJet 1000 driver and the HP LaserJet 1000 DOS driver, are successfully installed.
4.Configure the HP LaserJet 1000 driver as the default driver.
5.Test print a document.

NOTE: This issue does not occur with DOS applications that are printed in Landscape Mode with the HP LaserJet 1000 DOS driver.
