Will das System komplett neu-installieren - Bei Format c: via bootdiskette sagt er "Invalid device parameters from device driver" - Scandisk kann es auch nicht beheben obwohl es Fehler im root directory findet, sagt es seien zuviele Dateien im root directory. Unter fdisk wird die C Disk unter volume label als ganz koisch angezeigt (in etwa +* -)°°°°).... wie kann ich vorgehen? DANKE VIELMALS

kannst du mit Fdisk nicht die "NonDosPartition" löschen.??

Du kannst auch das "Xfdisk" runterladen und mit dem probieren.

Und falls es an einem Fehler an der HDD liegt, habe ich gute Erfahrung mit Low Level Format gemacht, da git es Tools für, schau mal als erstes bei deinem Festplattenhersteller, ob er so ein Tool anbietet, manche PC´s machen das auch aus dem Bios raus.

FP ist also neu angelegt und frisch formatiert. aber win2k geht trozzdem nciht drauf (wenn ich voon cd boote kommt "Ntdetect ist fehlgeschlagen" )... KANN JEMAND HELFEN?? DANKE IM VORAUS


* you do that by booting off a known good start disk.
(you can also do this by booting off the CD itself)

in your case
dir C: /w /o /p /a
(that is done to check if it really is the drive you want to format, because surprises do happen...)

if it is the one you want

format C: /U

after format finished, REBOOT

if that error occurs all over again, you might have a dying hard disk

Alles Klar - habs gelöst. Erst win98 installiert (ging irgendiwe) und wort dort aus win2k ENGLISCH. die deutsche cd ist wohl einfach kaputt, daher immer die o.g. fehlermeldung...
