Hallo, ich habe einen alten Athlon 600 PC mit einem
1st SD11 Mainbord.
Im Handbuch steht: The 1st Mainboard SD 11 supports the next generation AMD Athlon processor at impressive speeds of 500/550/600/650 MHz, and eventuelly further. Bedeutet further, dass ich auch einen 800 MHz Prozessor auf dem Bord einbauen kann? Wenn ja, auf was muß ich achten wenn ich solch einen einbauen würde?

Hallo Mary
Dein Board ist ein Slot-A Mainboard. Slot-A CPUs wurden bis 1GHz verkauft. Soweit ich informiert bin, kannst Du auf dem Board alle diese Prozessoren installieren. Ich würde nur das neuste BIOS installieren.

Dein Board ist ein Slot-A Mainboard. Slot-A CPUs wurden bis 1GHz verkauft. Soweit ich informiert bin, kannst Du auf dem Board alle diese Prozessoren installieren. Ich würde nur das neuste BIOS installieren.

Based around the advanced architektur of a chipset comprising of the AMD-751TM System controller for the North Bridge, and the Via Super South (686A) for the South Bridg, the 1stMainboard SD 11 benefits from superb levels of stability.
Hat diese Information noch eine besondere Bedeutung? Ich habe wenig Englischkenntnisse und verstehe denn Sinn nicht.
