ssds-im-benchmark-vergleich-as-ssd-score-gesamt-200.png?nocache=1355483477162Supportnet made benchmarks of all actual SSDs for you. We tested the read/write performance also as IOPs. You will find an overview of all tests below but you can also have a look at each specific model to get the complete benchmark for that one.

SSD hard disks are two to five times faster than magnetic hard drives and don't have no moving parts build inside, so they are shock resistant. This makes them predestinated to place them into notebooks. Some of them also need less power. With a SSD your Computer will noticeable feel faster! If you ever worked with a computer with a SSD in it you will never work again with an old magnetic hard disk computer. That are the pros. The cons are, they are small in capacity and very expensive (this is having a slow change at the moment).

So it is very important that you make the right decision. Get the fastest model for your money. Have a look at our overview to get the right model.

This benchmark will be updated every time a new model will come to the marked.

We use three different benchmark tools to get comparable results (AS SSD, Crystal Disk Mark, ATTO Benchmark)

Overview

In our first overview we use the AS SSD benchmark score to compare all SSDs. This score combines the read/write performance with access time and IOPs. You can see the fastest results on the top.

Crystal Disk Mark

We took Crystal Disk Mark to show the read performance. This is important for fast opening programs and operating system. So you can find here an overview about the read performance with Crystal Disk Mark.

ATTO Benchmark

This benchmark is often used from the SSD companies because it is measuring the fastest possible values. These values are often far away from real live.

AS SSD Copy-Benchmark

At the end we got the abstract of the copy benchmark. In this test an iso file will be copied to get practical results.

Result

At the moment the fastest models are the Samsung 840 Pro (258 GB) and the Samsung 840 basic (250 GB). You can also buy the two older models OCZ Vertex 4 (240 GB) or the Crucial M4 128 (128 GB), perhaps you can get them for less money because they are older models.
To notice a faster feel by using your personal computer you can buy every model with a green bar in the first overview.
